I just want to let everyone know that I received my Tip Jar check day before yesterday. I want to update everyone that Kindlewoods samples have been received and a few other horse owners within my chosen breed of horse are also sending in blood samples to help nail down the inheritance connection. We are still needing monetary support for Dr. Gus Cothran's research. If you are interested please email me personally at qiwmn@yahoo.com I will share with you some of different ways that you can contribute to the research.
Thank you Blue Goose Team for coming through with the check and thank you to those of you who donated to my mares cause.
Folks one of my dearest friends has arrived at Blue Goose. I have learned so much from her and she has such depth of heart. Simrat will show many of us how to journey in harmony with the bigger plan as our guide. I love this woman! She has a daughter who I believe has depth of connection with the universe beyond most of our comprehension. We'll see if I'm correct as time passes by, but I think this girl is meant for bigger things.
Please welcome Simrat to our fold. I think she will surprise you all! Sofia, I think you will find Simrat refreshing and helpful in your journey. ChrisJC she has a sense of correctness that is expressed in a comforting and welcoming way, I think you will find her enlightening and balanced and a true comrade.

I'll be back in a few short days folks... I have many things twirling around in my brain that I want to commit to the keyboard. Especially about expectations for living life, what is most important in life... you know stuff like that.

WOW what a beautiful way to reach out and help society and ourselves, one soul at a time. Maybe it is not a garden. Where I live there are few of those due to the harsh environment conditions, but some have house plants, yards, critters, something that they nurtured lovingly that may be lost due to their state of health. I know my mother in the end of her time here on earth cherished her 6 x 6 plot of flowers. Upon the end she would say I can't replace the annuals. I just don't have the money or time or strength. I said to her, who cares about the money or time, that is all you have. Let's go to the garden shop and get some more flowers. You can plant each flower one day at a time until they are all happily rooted in their new home. That was her great achievement planting 12 flowers for 12 days in her 6 x 6 plot of ground. Sitting in her chair on the patio breathing her canned oxygen while holding the hose each morning watering her garden and enjoying her tea. She loved that garden and it floruished long after she was gone.
This is my favorite blog to visit. Well this and its sister blog "In the Night Farm"
Travis and Tamara are eeking out a sustainable lifestyle in the open spaces of Idaho. What they share is invalueable and inpsires me beyond imagination. So much so that I plan to immitate them as much as possible when I make my move next year to the Southwestern slopes of Colorado.
